H O B B I E S + I N T E R E S T S
I have been reading science fiction for over 55 years. Sometimes I read fantasy. My favourite author is C. J. Cherryh who writes the only aliens I know who aren't just humans in funny skins.
I have been sailing yachts for over 55 years. At weekends I cruise the Solent; for summer holidays I have covered the area from Sweden to Poland to Ireland to Biscay. I sail with the Emsworth Cruising Association.
I have worked for over 20 years as a volunteer proofreader for Project Gutenberg Distributed Proofreading.
I also play Real Tennis.
